Lately, ive been interested in chinese novels. Could you guys recommend me to a good chinese novel or manhua? I preferably like the intelligent protagonist, but it doesnt really matter.
The chinese stories ive read so far are
Douluo Dalu (Novel)
Shen Yin Wang Zuo (Novel)
I think thats all...

I've been reading Xian Ni (Novel) and Zhan Long (Novel) and lately they've gotten really good. You should read the novels before the Manhua because they are better by far.

For some reason Wuxia stories have gotten really popular lately, so you might want to check out that tag for more suggestions.

Does chinese novel here refer to the author's nationality?
Chang Ge Xing
Doctor Du Ming
Peony Pavilion
Condor Trilogy could be considered as classic, and I don't know if its available in in your place, but I really recommended it.
Yu Wo's novel is also a pretty popular choice in comedy genre.

Ooh~ wow these all sound interesting
@conquerorofheaven yea wuxia has been getting more attention lately and i have thought about reading Xian Ni (Novel) seeing that its pretty popular, so since youve recommended it to me, i might as well read it ^o^. Zhan Long (Novel) also sounds intersesting. Not only that its pretty long (wont get me bored biggrin)

@Sorcha hmm, i guess chinese novel refers to the author's nationality... The way i put it was pretty vague wasnt it >.< The Condor Triology sounds reeeally interesting but i dont think its available at my place, though the possibility is low, i'll try to search for it, otherwise, i'll seriously start learning chinese XD
