Are you sure you actually, you know, LIKE manga? lol... to have 17 on your reading and finished lists, and 439 on your dropped list... Well maybe you'd do a lot better if you didn't try to eliminate shounen and shoujo from your diet. There's a whole freaking lot of excellent manga missing from your lists. And shoujo/shounen aren't genres; just general demographics. You might as well not watch animated films/TV because you think it's for children or something equally silly. There's shoujo as dark as Mars (hey you finished ES by the same author) and shounen with the depth of feeling of Cross Game.

Whenever I read shoujo or shounen manga, I always find myself unable to continue after I read considerable amount of the chapters. Well, I am still open to any great manga despite of their genres.
