It was because four years ago, I used to watch a lot of anime, although I have lost interest in anime for a few years now. Also, I just couldn't think of anything creative at the time.
The number after is something I've been using since I was nine though. It was suggested on a site I was trying to register for because the username I wanted was already taken. It just stuck with me ever since.

I originally made mine some years ago. I started playing some game where my character was a popstar or some such thing and I wanted to use the name RubyDiamond for the reason of my character being 'so special she was named after 2 jewels.' (Looking back I think my thinking was stupid but oh well.) It was too long so I shorted it to RubyDi and I had it for some years now and it is one of the two main user names I use.
The other being Shaphina, which was actually suppose to be Sapphina, from sapphire, which I got from a mousepad for some company called Sapphire or such. I wasn't thinking though and spelt sapphire as shaphire. Though because of that it is usually available.
At that is my story.

Since my name is "Francesca" I tried to make a Japanese-like nickname adding "chan"...
"Fracchan" sounded quite nice ^__^

Because even though I don't make manga, I like to create OCs and hopefully one day, when I get a scanner, I'll be able to post them on DeviantART for some critiques and maybe then create my own manga. The username is pretty much a reminder.

Mine makes me sound like I'm a Japanese wanna-be T.T
Anyways I chose this one because, haven't you ever read that romance manga/story (doesn't have to be shoujo) where, when it reaches the climax, you're sitting on the edge of your seat, and your heart is pounding?
Yeaaap. I love that feeling.
doki-doki = heart pounding (If I'm not mistaken) and kimochi =feelings.
I just sort of put them together so it's probably not correct Japanese grammar (not to mention if it even makes sense like that) but it sounds better than what it would be in English so I like it that way (except when I have to type it everytime I log in, though I've gotten used to it.)

I've been using this for about 5 years or so ever since I made my first account on an online game and I just find it easy to remember so I don't have to create a gazillion different usernames on different websites and I stick to it. I've grown attached to it. It sparked after reading a manga called "Millennium Snow".
