I'm looking for a SoL manga/novel/anime/whatever where we get to see the characters transition to university from high school and how they adjust to this new environment. I've found some titles that are set in university from the beginning but nothing that fits this particular criteria.

There are two things that I'd like to avoid if possible:

- Love triangles.
- Unrealistic and cheesy romance as seen in most shoujo manga.

If you're okay with yaoi, there's this manga named Complex, where you follow a pair of friends from when they meet as children to when they're old. It kind of exceeds the time span you wanted, but it's a really moving manga with a well thought out plot.

So I did a search here but it seems the only manga that really matches is Kakukaku Shikajika.
