I believe it's either the main guy or the second male lead. It's a backstory type thing or a look back before he met the main girl. He's talking about how he finds all women the same or that he thinks they all wear masks. Not being themselves always caked in makeup, doesn't trust them. Thanks to his sister (probably older)never looking like herself when she's at home. In the story he is either being left to wash her undergarments (bra's, panties maybe just bra's) or is being thrown bras by a side girl character at the time. yet somehow it leads to him saying he feels that this girl is different. She's not lying. Not a liar? It's hard to remember because it's been a long time since I read it. You know how it is to want to re-read something but you can't remember.
