I'm looking for a manga with a MC that you inexplicably love even though they are complete (or almost complete) trolls. For example, I love the MC in Seigi no Mikata and the MC in Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai.

I feel like there is a certain genius that it takes to write obnoxious characters that you love, because it is so easy for them to just be annoying. Anyway, I look forward to your recommendations! smile

Edit: I forgot to mention this, but please do not recommend any ecchi (or manga with perviness in general), yaoi, shojou-ai, shounen-ai, etc. Apologies to those who posted before I remembered to include this.

You should read Tonari no Seki-kun. I absolutely love the MC despite all the terrible? things he does. He's moody, childish, cruel and yet still somehow lovable. It's absolutely hilarious.

Kunitoshi Joukyuu from Aiki, a totally irredeemable bastard who's only purpose is to keep himself from boredom by dominating and trolling everyone. But every moment he's around is hilarious and epic.

Mitsuhashi Takashi from Kyou Kara Ore Wa, a selfish, arrogant hypocritical punk who wants to be a feared delinquent. His motto is anything goes and the ends justify the means. He'll easily resort to dirty ticks in order to come out on top. Despite that he's a funny and likable guy who occasionally shows his nice side and will go out of his way for his friends.

Kyou kara Ore wa!! looks funny; I'll give it a shot

I have reservations about Tonari no Seki-kun because it is episodic, but I'll try it anyway because on rare occasions I'm okay with that (for example,Yotsubato)

Kyou Kara Ore wa is one of the best comedies I've read, don't be put off by it's art style you'll get used to it. There's also a 10 episode OVA adaptation. If you enjoy kkow you'll probably like GTO, Angel Densetsu and Nishimori Hiroyuki's other works like Tenshi na Konamaiki and Ocha Nigosu. All of his works have a similar feel and are comedy gold.

The female lead in Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san is a troll and Souichirou´s other series somewhat fits so look at some of the tags that stick out to you here.
The Cromartie High School IG anime is a superior adaptation and the definition of random. Level E could be better lastly but holy hell are all the leads weird.
