anyway, hello! i've known about this site for a while, but i only started lurking a week ago. i got pretty ill and decided to find some horror manga to read to pass the time, and this site helped me a lot!

my name is hadassah. this is actually the first time i'm using my name and not a weird alias. i guess it kind of sounds like an alias, though, so i wanted to try it out. i'm 23 going on 24 and i'm orthodox jewish. otherwise, i'm not really interesting... otz

i got into anime and manga when i was pretty young. living in a jewish community, the culture and lifestyle of japan is so similar, so i've always felt a connection to it that i didn't quite find with marvel comics. recently, i've been getting into horror manga! mostly short stories and anthologies, though. it started last year when a friend linked me to a site dedicated to junji ito and i've been hooked since.

i actually watch and read a variety of anime and manga! sailor moon will always have a special place in my heart, but right now i'm really into wake up, girls! and yuru yuri (season three!!! so excited!). i was also a member of the hetalia fandom for a few years. i've kind of separated myself from it, but my tumblr is still nothing but liechtenstein. i've got a lot of shows on queue on crunchyroll, but i'm taking a break to focus on comics instead.

outside of that, i really love escape games, picross puzzles, and i'd like to learn as many philippine languages as possible one day. i'm not sure how successful i'll be with that, though. i've been learning hebrew since i was six and i still can't converse in it orz orz
