Gotta few questions for you guys.

1) Even though the whole thing has been scanlated for free, would you still be interested in buying it?

2) How much would you be willing to pay for an actual translated volume?

Have any suggestions? Comments? post them here as well. Right now, this is all mainly for my curiosity but who knows what may come of it :p

(Edit: removed old part 1)

Well I don't mind donating a few bucks for scanlations but why should I give you money so that you can earn more money with selling manga ?

Well, I cant donate really much since all my money is used up, I would be willing to buy KnJ as a manga and would be ready to pay it in the price range of 10-20$ pro volume

Because I don't really think it will make money.

All the chapters that have been made so far are out for free and have been for a while. It would be more for those who want a physical copy instead of staring at their computer screens.

A lot of stores wouldn't even carry something like this either.

I would buy a manga sold by a (former) scanlation group and would be willing to spend a little bit more than as usual for a volume, 10-20 $. But I won't donate for licensing it, it isn't that I don't trust you, well yeah I don't trust people I don't know and I won't give them money "for nothing" ;)

Didnt another manga group want to sell the manga but declined because of the Rin & Aoki gym storeroom incident

Well I own all the japanese volumes of the manga, so that is good enough for me. I can not understand all the japanese, but as long as I have the books, I am okay. But I would not want to pay more than I payed for the japanese versions which is around 6 dollars. So if you can give me something similar to the japanese version, in english, I guess I would spring for it. As I love this series so much.

(I bought the comic highs while I was in japan, so I am very addicted to the series right now)

I buy the original manga (Comic High!) in Japan whenever I get the chance. (mostly via mail order or via friends), I generally don't buy the English version, IMO I have paid for the original and the tl is kind of a fan service. So to answer your question, I would not buy a physical English copy.
