I'm looking for a manga where the protagonist does not get with the person that seems to be the intended love interest. Like you were thrown for a loop. I'm not looking for a story where the person has obviously terrible life decision skills and ends with someone they shouldn't have.

My preference I'd shoujo and josei but I'm ok with shounen and seinen too.

Please no hentai, yaoi, Yuri, shounen Ai, shoujo Ai or harem.
