Hallo!

I love to read good drama yaoi, one that can make me cry a good cry. I don't really know what to read next so I would love some recommendations! I don't mind smut, in fact I would love it if the story had it but if it doesn't then its okay. I just really want a yaoi that has a good plot line and characters that can make me cry be it from joy or sadness. One thing I don't want is the death of the couple (please sad I don't want the uke or seme to die!!). If it's death of a relative or anything like that then it's fine.
I looking for more manga but if there's a good yaoi anime I would love to see it! I don't mind long manga and I really like the art style of the manga below.
These are some of the yaoi mangas that I really liked:
- Sekaiichi Hatsukoi
- Junjou Romantica
- Ten Count
- Love Stage
- Koisuru Boukun
- Kuroneko Kareshi no Itoshikata (the entire series)
- Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai
- Porno Superstar
- Choco Strawberry Vanilla
- Leopard Hakusho
- Yume no You na Hanashi

I would love to hear your recommendations! And then if there's a good yaoi you think I should read I would also like to hear it! Thank you! biggrin

and if you want a good cry:
-Complex
-Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru

No offense, but I think Ai no Kusaba and The Inheritance of Aroma probably won't meet her
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
no death of seme or uke
qualification.

Some recommendations off the top of my head for some angsty/dramatic reads:

Renai Rubi no Tadashii Furikata by Tanaka Ogeretsu - Seriously, this is only two chapters, but I cried some real tears for Natsuo. It's got some lovely drama that gets a very sweet and hot resolution.

In the same vein Sabita Yoru Demo Koi wa Sasayaku by the same manga-ka as above. It's more sad than anything, but whether you'll be moved to tears is up to you. I think the best thing about it is that a lost love comes back into his life and kinda saves him. (Manga-ka also draws some amazing smut)

Star Right by Ougi Yuzuha (manga-ka of Leopard Hakusho) - I feel like a jerk recommending this because there's two more volumes still unscanlated (it's definitely not over), but I love this couple and how they kind of operate in this up and down relationship where they can't admit that they love each other due to certain circumstances. Read the last chapters of Tokyo Shinjuu to get their full story first.

Horohoro to - Lot of regret and sacrifice themes in this one.
Owaranai Fukou ni Tsuite no Hanashi
Kasa no Shita, Futari
Kachou wa Kakko Ii - Second story. same manga-ka as Porno Superstar.
Beautiful Days
Hanakage no Kioku
Boku no Koe by Youka Nitta - Has tons of drama like most of her works. Not sure if it's tear-inducing drama, but it does have some punch in the gut moments (for me anyway).

Here's my try. I flipped through my lists, and selected those who might be on the tear-jerker side. I can just hope so cause I've never really cried when reading a manga (except one, see below). But I can say that they've all squeezed my heart hard, well some more than others but still.

Afuresou na pool (old art, but great story)
Ai o Kou Kemono
Aisanai Otoko and a lot of other works by Miyamoto Kano have great depth, I really recommend you to read more of her works
Aiso Tsukashi
Ano Hi no Kimi wo Dakishimeta nara
Ashita mo Tanin (a really good one)
Another from Kyuugou is the first story of Bokura wa Sore o Hitei Dekinai
Cut
Eien no Shichigatsu (even though it's got the comedy tag, it really squeezed my heart)
Endless World (well I'm not sure noone dies in this one, I don't remember well. But it's a masterpiece you can't miss)
Fisrt story of Illumination
Jigoku Meguri
Kanjou Kairo
Kimi no Kao ni Sasu Kage
Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru and it's sequel Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru (You have to read both to feel the heartache. Well, this is the only manga I cried for, there's a scene in the second volume that broke my heart)
Love & Catastrophes
Machina Angelus
Midare Somenishi (quite dark, but well done)
Mimurake no Musuko
Nemureru Hana
Ochibure Shinshi ni Ai no Uta
Ookami Shounen to Hamu no Hito (This one's a bit special since it's an author of bara works who did it, but the art's still good even for a yaoi lover. You have to know that the author is a gay man, hence the realistic feeling. It's a very good one.)
Overdose
Shiawase no Category
Soul Kiss
Sweet Bitter Candy (I loved this one, maybe not a taer-jerker but so heartfelt)
Tear Drop
Udagawachou de Mattete yo. (not a tear-jerker, but so good you can't miss this one)
