I know there's tag for this. But what i search is kinda more spesificly with the appearance. Like the couple's height doesn't gap too much. Either has the same height or just a little bit different. Seme can be a little taller or shorter, is all fine.
And for the Uke, just because the Seme is Uke-like, doesn't mean the Uke is Seme-like. So, no, the Uke isn't super manly, bara type, or scary type, or so cool handsome power Seme type. Nope. Just an Ordinary looking boy/man who has normal appearance. Delinquent or not is fine.
And for the Seme with Uke-look, doesn't mean he has to look so feminine, girly, beautiful-girl like, or short.
Just maybe like the loner type or nerd type or quiet, or polite. Or like Ordinary type.

Series or one-shot.
If it series, the Seme doesn't have to be always Uke-like for the whole series. He can change to be more Seme-like in the middle or the ending.
I don't really have clear example because it's been a while for me read specific manga like this.
Example maybe like: Mousou Elektel & Kawaii Akuma
Both the Uke of the Series is Normal-look, right?

I know Mishima Kazuhiko-sensei, so please don't recommend her work again.

I search something like this because I read and watch Tokyo Ghoul. (non romance/BL)
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I like to think Kaneki/Haise as Seme while most people like to think he's Uke/Sub type. After all he doesn't look strong except when he's in action.
And I just Love Bottom Hide. While he's secretly genius badass.

Still confused? Do you already saw the TG pairing reference?
Still? Maybe just give me spiky hair Uke... *sighed* like Boku to Neko to Hatsukoi Kousa.

Add: I didn't mean to being rude. I just became impatient because the stress i get. Sorry. no

Yaoi isn't my thing so I can't recommend a lot but something came to mind when checking the request.
Junketsu Drop when I read it I totally fell for a uke-seme trap and was trolled that I didn't guess them right laugh

*doing research*
Ahh... so that's why i put it on my Unfinished List from long time ago.
Actually, it was so obvious, for me at least. none #sighed
But thank you for trying...

I'm kinda new to yaoi so my recs might not fit (sorry about that)

I totally second Junketsu Drop btw. It is one of the best I have ever read biggrin

Manga by Junko and Takarai Rihito have the kind of couples you are looking for. Ootsuki Miu's and Yamamoto Kotetsuko's works might fit too.

Here are some more:
Bara to Yaban
Me o Tojite 3-Byou
Konya mo Jirettai

If you check the last 100 series in my Complete List you might find more since the "uke and seme look alike" trope (would you call it that?) was what I was following until just recently my tastes changed (sorry I'm lazy laugh )

Check this topic too. It might be useful but I'm not too sure.

I will add more if I find any smile

P.S. This is my 100th post!! Yay me!!

1. I already said it was on my Unfinished List which mean i don't like it. Sorry. it was obvious to me. and not fan with the characters

2. No offence, but are you seriously recommend Yamamoto Kotetsuko for this topic? Because her works definitely the most unfit so far. And Takarai Rihito's too i think. ...and Junko....
I'm not sure about Ootsuki Miu's yet.

3, 4, 5. If they are like the cover tell, i doubt it.

Nah, the topic was about the Uke, not the Seme.

Still, Thanks for trying

It almost seems like you are looking for couples that don't really fit in traditional uke or seme roles (e.g. no feminine, short, uke or a tall, powerful seme). Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Here are some suggestions:

Doukyuusei (NAKAMURA Asumiko) and the rest of that series.
Anata no Tame nara doko Made mo
Boku to Neko to Hatsukoi Kousa
Konna Otoko wa Aisareru maybe? It's been awhile since I've read it.
Hima na no de Hajimete Mimasu.

Well, yes, and not really.

1 & 2. Wow, what's with you and Asumiko-sensei's mangas? Thanks. But everytimes i tried to read her works i have to do mental preparation. But i'm sure i would read her other works later. I don't know when. and for different reason.
3. ..which one is the Seme? I wonder... *staring and the cover* Still, thanks. (After reading: YES! YES! THANK YOU! *cheers*)
4. Ohoh.... Honjou Rie's work. Gosh... i wonder. I have complicated feelings with her work. Bu thanks for remind me of hers.
5. If it's look like the cover, then, no. Not right now, at least. Not for this topic. But, thank you.

Thank you for coming. *bow* eyes

Haha, I know what you mean about Asumiko's work, they can be pretty intense. That said, the Dokyuusei series is quite cute and adorable! I think an anime is coming out at some point? Anata no Tame is also pretty tame in comparison to her other works, but it does have some weird moments.

Glad you liked Boku to Neko! I really loved that one too.

For Hima na no de Hajimete Mimasu, the blonde is the seme, if that helps you out if you want to read it.

Me too~! I'm so Happy~! biggrin

So, like the cover telling. I wont read it now. I might read it for different reason. But thanks for the recommendation.

You can only bump your thread once every seven days.

And just a word of advice, if you're a little more polite about it,
I'm sure more people will be inclined to help you.
