"Stories" is my passion in life, but I chose it as an ongoing hobby, because the poll referenced both manga and anime - the latter of which I can only stomach VERY few series nowadays. And it comes and goes; most mediums are different, and those mediums are in turn different based on region, but they're all [with a few exceptions] following tropes so it feels great to be able to switch it up to not get completely fed up with one region's/medium's tropes.

but manga I'll always hold dear to

I find if easier to multi task anime. I just have it on in the background while doing other stuff. If I watch actively I fast forward a lot now a days.

Probably spend 1/10 of the time I used to but it no longer declines.

I choose a 'lifestyle' in the sense that, even if I don't actually read that many manga (or anime), and I also like to read books and other comics, I know for a fact that I could not give up reading manga or watching anime. There was a time when I moved abroad and I could not access my favourite manga, and I remember missing it so much.

So I think that I will probably be reading manga for as long as I will be reading all the other stuff (books, academic papers, newspapers, etc.) - that is to say, as long as my eyes and my brain will let me.

Lifestyle. I've been reading manga for around 15 years, at least from 1st grade elementary school... This year, it's declining, not because I lost interest tho, but because I graduated and thus started to have a job, muuuch less time to do anything

Maybe my love for this hobby also supported by my other hobby, which is drawing, ooon manga-style
