seems pretty good, but the main character forgets that he ever knew the person... it is pretty slow in the beginning but really takes off. Read it if you are really looking for a romance like that and not minding about anything else.. because the manga is also about scuba diving o.0

I strongly strongly reccomend Gokinjo Monogatari, a.k.a. Neighbourhood Story. It rawks.
The two main characters have known each other frm young, and the story just RAWKS

Lovely Complex - I've only seen a couple episodes of the anime and it was pretty good, I guess. it comes highly recommended from a LOT of people though, so I added it on here.
Venus Capriccio - the guy & girl are already really good friends at the start of the manga
Tenshi Ja Nai!! - the guy & girl meet in the beginning of the manga, but it's not until several volumes later (and after they've become best friends) that they fall in love. it's a gender bender. XD
Auto Focus - guy & girl become step-siblings in the beginning of the manga and aren't in love in the beginning. the girl already has a boyfriend whom she loves.
Cherry Juice - guy & girl have been step-siblings for quite a few years and the guy is just starting to develop feelings for the girl when the manga starts. the girl already has a boyfriend whom she loves.
Fruits Basket - if you haven't read it already.
Charisma Doll - guy & girl in entertainment biz become friends and then fall for each other.
Bitter Virgin - the guy falls for the girl first and then becomes friends with her. but they're friends before the girl falls for him. note - this series is serious and at times, very moving. it's not like light shoujo.
the plots of Auto Focus and Cherry Juice may sound similar, but the characters are actually pretty different. ^_^ I'd give them both a try.

About ichigo 100, yeah the end was a bit crappy. I thought it was really out of place.. they shouldve gone with aya.
Thanks for the titles, I've read most of them, but there's also some titles that I haven't seen. I'll check them out. anyway, more recommendations are still appreciated
