Hi!

Necromancy Scans is a new group that translates light novels from Japanese to English. At the moment we are working on the Record of Lodoss War series but we may pick up other series in the future.

Honestly, right now it's just me, the raw provider, translator, etc. The first volume is mostly translated, so I'm looking for help with the other jobs.

For each volume of our current project, we have about 4-5 pages of images with text that need editing. There should be little to no redrawing needed - most of the text is in nice, rectangular boxes, though there is a map that might be more difficult. At the current rate, it takes me a few months to translate a single volume, so this is a relatively light commitment.

Proofreader: (we could always use more help with this)
I'd like someone to look over the translations to fix the typos and make sure the English flows well. Obviously, for this position a good command of written English is ideal.

Can I apply as proofreader? I am an absolute newbie though. But I really want to try proofreading.
