So I just started reading this, and even though the chapters are really short, I am truly enjoying the story.
For the little we've been shown of the main character, Sawa, I am liking her.

As for the other characters, I'm assuming Hajime is Kyo's kid, since he looks like him.
Now for the blonde kid, Mutsuki, I thought he might be Momiji's kid, I think he looks like him, but I've seen elsewhere that someone said the way Makoto reacted to him ,he's probably Yuki's kid ( Machi did have light hair).
I think the head of the fan girl club is the daughter of Motoko (Yuki's number 1 fan) since she looks like her.
And Sawa's homeroom teacher looks mighty familiar to me too.
Another theory that popped into my head after re-reading chapter 4, in the original, Tohru was dragged into the story because of Akito. In this one is someone called "Shiki". I was thinking, what if Sawa is someone's bastard child? Her mom is MIA and there is no dad in the picture.

What do you think?

If I had to make a guess, I'd say that if the the suspiciously-familiar-looking teacher is any character from the original canon, he seems most like Megumi, in terms of appearance.

As for the Mutsuki, the most obvious conclusion would be that it's Yuki's kid (contingent on it being anyone from the original canon's kid) - however, he could be anyone's child, even Ayame's (due to the nature of the zodiac curse, all afflicted children [aside from the cat] are well loved by most people). I will say, however, that at one point, his pose reminded me of the way Momiji leaned in to say things so matter-of-factly; but, due to the nature of the Sohma family, and the nature of the curse, Mutsuki could well be anyone's kid, even those unaffected by the curse - the way faculty treat Mutsuki would likely be more a response to the wealth, standing of the family, or the nature of the curse, and less to do with any innate character traits inherited from their parents.

I'm waiting for an Uo-like or Hana-like character to appear.

Megumi! That's who I thought he was! I forgot about him.
And yeah, I think the reason I think Mutsuki might be Momiji's kid besides the fact that he kinda looks like him, is his mannerisms.
We'll just have to wait and see I suppose?

Crunchyroll said something about how this isnt going to be more that like 2-3 volumes. And that Tohru, Kyo and Yuki probably arent going to have an appearance.
