I'm a big fan of the Scrapped Princess franchise, but sadly I've only read the first three light novels (those translated by Tokyopop). I've seen the anime, but considering the light novels are 18 volumes in total (13 main + 5 side), I'm fairly certainly the anime cut a substantial amount of content.

My pleas for fan translations have fallen on deaf ears, and I even tried to order the novels through Kinokuniya, thinking I might be able to skim through them with my basic Japanese - but they couldn't get them since they're so long out of print, even in Japan.

I've searched online in English and Japanese for summaries of the later volumes: something. Anything! But I can't seem to find any information. Surely someone out there has read this series or at least knows how it ends.
