I don't remember much from it but it was a reincarnation story about a common foot soldier who died in a great war after years of fighting without having accomplished anything and then was reborn(I think a couple hundred years into the future) right as another war was about to break out and decided to do better. Any tips?

Unfortunately that's not it but thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty sure it was a newer comic. I remember reading the synopsis and favoriting a few months ago it to read later when more was released, but then I had to reformat my pc and lost everything.
All I really remember from the synopsis is that it talked about him dying as a foot soldier, being reborn into another great war, and stressed some importance on some kind of (magical?)technology.
