I hope someone can help me remember the name of a novel. Unfortunately all I can remember is the MC reincarnated into his past self. He has a childhood friend who likes him and vice versa and later he meets his future self's girlfriend who is an elf and he also has a friend who is good at sword fighting. His mother is a powerful sorceress. In his future he was a hero who took down the demon king but that Kings precious stone revived him...later he and his friends saved a princess .....that's it this is all I can remember.

Unfortunately it's not this one.

It has a more darker tone. It can either be a wuxia novel or a japanese novel. Also the hero guy is human and the girl he likes is also human. In his past life the human girl dies when his village was attacked by demons. So the human guy sets out to gain power and eventually becomes a hero who leads a group of elite human warriors into the demon kings castle in order to kill the demon king. The elf girlfriend was a part of this elite team but his team got wiped out and he alone survived and eventually defeats the demon king but got fatally wounded in the process. However the some stone helps to reincarnate him back to his past self . At this time that human girl is still alive
