Member 10:07 am, Apr 12 2008 Posts: 19	hey guys~ i was wondering if anyone know any good manga that has good character development?? i have ran into a few series with some awsome character developments but.... x.x. they are hard to find :/ so~ if anyone can help~ it' greatly appreciated. thanks ^^ the series with good character development i have read are.... Gantz Eden 20th Century Boys Monsters Ares Id Battle Angel Alita Berserk Claymore HunterXHunter Shinshi Doumei Cross Skip Beat Tokyo Crazy Paradise Yubisaki Milk Tea there are many.. more... but than the list will just be too long xD, if you can think of any manga that has good character development please post it here xD, im welling to try any genres even if it' yaoi or yuri thanks for all the help ^^

Although a lot of people don't actually like the characters, it (well, the anime version) has been used as an aid in college level psychology classes... Second School Days. Also Nijigahara Holograph (It's one volume, you've got nothing to lose). Solanin Hatsukanezumi no Jikan Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge (although this is still beginning, I suspect its awesomeness already). Member 10:10 am, Apr 14 2008 Posts: 147	xxxholic definitely. If you go back and read from the start you can see how much the main character has grown. It's only got a little over 2 volumes out but bitter virgin seems to be developing quite nicely. The anime Ghost Hound.

Member 1:31 pm, Apr 14 2008 Posts: 185	Blade of the Immortal Has some great, fairly deep characters if you are ok with a bloodier, more mature manga. Cat Street has a very complex main character (she's a previous reculse and overanalyzes social situations) who decides to attend a free school, and meets more equally eccentric people (don't expect to find the prince stereotype here, everyone has pluses and minuses.) Great if you're ok with shojou. [m]Dogs Bullets and Carnage[/m]/Dogs . I just had to put this out there. The character depth makes this manga my favorite read. Characters stay true to thier personalities and have human flaws. Though they're all skewed and flawed they get together really well, which is what makes the cast great ^_^ Bitter Virgin There's alot of character growth in this one.
