orange-kun was the general of the britannia army that lelouche gaessed in order to release suzuki (clamp-looking guy, forgot his name >_> )

lelouche said orange to him to make it look like he was conspiring wit the elevens frm the beginning. he got into an accident i think and was turned into a robot thing...

been a while since i saw the anime so my memory is hazy (and i'm tired )

It's unknown whether or not he was dead. He crashed into the ocean with CC at the end of the first season, but they were apparently experimenting on him with something relating to his geass command. The scientists doing so were the ones researching CC, so it *might* even be possible that he's now immortal Orange-kun.

Anyway, the guy walking across the desert in the opening has a mechanical thing on his eye and looks a hell of a lot like Orange-kun. I don't think that's a coincidence.

EDIT: I just finished watching the sub. I didn't really get anything wrong or miss anything this time (visual aids apparently help my Japanese quite a bit), but I think I missed some of Rollo's focus on the concept of family rather than just Lelouch. Lelouch will probably get out of the situation by saying that Rollo is incapable of killing him based on his unwillingness to return the locket. Just my bet though.

My prediction is that Li and/or Rollo will ally with Lelouch. Some of this basis is off the fact that if they were against him, along with the whole of Brittania, then Lelouch's chances of winning grow ever slimmer. Rollo is also shown to be very attached to that locket that he got from Lelouch, so he probably holds some attachment to him and won't be able to kill him so easily. Although, a question I have at this point is that was Rollo given the locket before or after Lelouch's memory replacement? As in, was the act of giving Rollo the locket implanted as a memory within Lelouch or did it actually happen?

As for Li, I think he's probably just part of some plan by C.C., who he was talking to earlier. Or perhaps someone else's plan. But either way, it's probably just an act. I might be missing the mark, but Li doesn't seem like the type to just start something like that. Especially since he was so obedient before (although still holding a level of uncertainty).

Edit: After rewatching, Li also mentions that he has "an interest in you all (Black Knights)", which seems to indicate Li doesn't see them in a hostile light.

Also, since Viletta and Rollo were so concerned with the continued use of Lelouch as bait for C.C., I wonder if they'll still let Lelouch go on his daily life at the Academy after this incident? Although Rollo does seem set on killing him, but the events next episode might change that. But then there's still Viletta, who is probably highly suspicious now. Main thing is, would this incident spell the end of his life at Ashford? He was only kept as bait, and they didn't have definite proof he regained his memories until Rollo found him just then.

Edit: Just watched the subs, time for a more informed post since the raw was basically just me going by the pictures and random vocabulary.

Li is certainly a very powerful and interesting character. He's a capable warrior, ready to take action, and knows quite a bit about how to plan things out. He's turning out to be one of my favorite characters in the show, with the little I've seen so far. The dagger to the face move is still epic, more so now that I know the dialogue around it. After the end of this episode, it's pretty much assured that Li will turn on Lelouch eventually. Although, Lelouch hasn't met Li yet has he? It'll be interesting to see Lelouch's view on Li. They'll probably just end up using each other.

And this episode hit more Viletta x Ougi points, so it becomes closer and closer to the inevitable where they get back together. Or Ougi dies tragically and Viletta tries to take revenge. Something like that.

Still saying Rollo's merciless, although now I say that's to be expected since he's been trained to use his Geass as an assassin. Though, does that even extend to the time he was a child? That's pretty scary. And even more so when he didn't even change his facial expression while murdering as a child. I still think how Rollo didn't pull the trigger on Lelouch odd, since he's a trained assassin and everything. Perhaps if Lelouch were saying something about C.C. to begin with, but he was just counting.

Lelouch did well, using Rollo's emotions to get him to switch sides. But, if Rollo ends up falling completely for Lelouch's brotherly act, then I can actually see the scenario in which Rollo attempts to kill Nunnally. Lelouch keeps saying how Rollo is an "imposter." It just gives me the impression that Rollo will not take it well once Nunnally comes back into the story. But, if Rollo's not that susceptible, then I say that he switches sides again towards the end.

I might be forgetting some details since I find it odd Viletta doesn't seem suspicious of Lelouch. But, now Lelouch seems safe at the Academy, which'll be interesting with Suzaku's entrance again. But, I don't really see a deep confrontation between them at this point. Perhaps just a simple conversation.

wow this ep was thrilling. it changed my whole opinion on Li, i first thought him as one of those intelligent kickass people who likes being the righthand man rather then leading but as we saw he's as evil as luluch. this i don't really like because its almost like theirs a second luluch, but never the less i still like him its not like he spouts out contradictory nonsense like those soldiers calling the the black knights terrorists. any like both magic and crenshin said li and luluch will definately have a showdown. its impossible to have 2 genius in one room and have them fight to see who's the stronger one but i doubt thier battle will be a huge all out war since both sides have risk of losing everything if it gets out of hand (granted li is more are so protected by his government and claim political asylum in china) this battle will most likely end in lulouchs victory cause he's the main character, li will however still try to manipulate the black knights.

Rollo will most likely try to kill nunnaly; he will most like fail not by the reason most of the others stated. i believe somehow nunnaly will save his heart and nunnally x rollo pairing will form. im saying this mostly because nunally is a way kinder person also much more forgiving and way more innocent both qualities that luluch lacks. but i found it both amusing and disgusting on how luluch brought rollo to his side.

Villete and Ougi are no doubt some of my favorite people in this show and definately my favorite couple. i love how strong sense of loyalty which causes their predicament of why they dont get together. i cant wait to see what happens with them and who gives out first, but i doubt either would switch sides for some petty thing like revenge.

What if nunally got her own geass? lol just speculation but it seems to me as if the geass power is thrown around a lot in the second season. I bet Suzaku gets one eventually as well. What happened to the first season where there were only 2 known geass users.

Nunally has a geass in her manga adaptation (Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally). It's basically clairvoyance.

I do know that, but that's an alternative universe so it doesnt pertain to the main series.
