It was a manga, with the usual showmen plot (growing stronger on his journey). The characters had to fight monsters, and then an old witch lady would burn their new "level" somewhere on their body (MC had his on his neck I think?) The MC was unique because he could synthesize the weapons of his brother's like monster hunter group after the group all died saving the MC. Pretty sure that the brothers weapon was a sword with a wing design, and there was a shield that could turn into a ball chain flail thingy, and a gun that could turn into a super fancy sniper gun (I obviously know a lot about weapons
). and the MC could work for like 3 days straight (ofc i probably got the date completely wrong) but then he immediately sleeps for a day. and umm like the beginning of the manga was the MC with a low level, but then he saves his (possibly childhood) friend (or maybe they weren't even friends lol) from some high-ish level monster boss, and they figure out that he was just too lazy to update his level bc it hurts. Anywho pretty sure the MCs goal is to ofc avenge his brother and he adventures with his friends and keeps connecting to the spirits of his brother/brothers friends etc. So i don't know if anyone else read it, but I want to finish it after 10-ish years lol (I stopped in like 4th grade
