Greetings, people !
These days I feel like trying series on some topics I've not intensively (enough) explored (yet). Please help me finding them !
I'm looking for mangas which can fit any criteria :
- the MC is cold, cruel and manipulative (preferably a murderer)
- the MC oppresses people (by any mean)
- there is a simple, cute yet eventful romance (≠ holding hands at 50th chapter)
- the MC is a sharp, knowledgable leader in a fantasy setting (≠ forever tutored MC)
- people die a lot (especially if we care about them)
- the story leads to spiritual, intellectual pondering
- the plot is devoid of "common sense" (children imagination, weird stories)
- the MC is mighty yet acts unseen (no matter the reason why)
- the MC couple has perfect synergy (2 bodies, 1 will)
- the MC is living his last days (terminal illness, suicide...)
To be honest, I'm not really picky on subjects, so if you feel like sharing something else just do !
Thanks a lot !
Have a nice day.

Akame Ga Kill
The MC is a sharp, knowledgable leader in a fantasy setting
Overlord
the MC is cold, cruel and manipulative (preferably a murderer)
Freesia
Dendrobates
Not mentioning the super popular ones, like death note and code geass, and these are just couple series off top of my head, all are quite good

Maou no Hajimekata - The Comic - MC is an evil magician and dungeon master. This also somewhat fits your request for leader in a fantasy setting.
Death Note, but you probably already know about it.
- the MC is a sharp, knowledgable leader in a fantasy setting (≠ forever tutored MC)
Nejimaki Seirei Senki - Tenkyou no Alderamin - He is sharp, knowledgeable and has all necessary qualities to be a good leader, but so far the scale is fairly small, i.e. he is not leading anything large/significant yet.
- people die a lot (especially if we care about them)
Gantz
Not manga, but in case you also watch anime you should try "Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra".
- the plot is devoid of "common sense" (children imagination, weird stories)
Yo no Na wa Zushio - It's a nonsensical, random and extremely hilarious comedy.
- the MC is living his last days (terminal illness, suicide...)
Ai-Ren
Diamond Dust (KANG Hyung-Gyu)
Edit:
Then here are few more titles that I like a lot and can recommend:
Again!! - some (minor) time travel + trying to fix mistakes made in the past. Great characters and character development.
D-Frag! - really good and unpredictable comedy.
Hare-Kon. - primarily: comedy + harem + romance + slice of life. I'm recommending it because its approach to the Harem theme is quite unusual. Story and characters are well detailed and it explores the concept of polygamy in a realistic way.
I Am a Hero - psychological + zombie survival. Fairly realistic for a story about zombies.
Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. - primarily: romance + slice of life. What makes it interesting is character development and involvement of Shinto, Japanese mythology and religion.
Onani Master Kurosawa - really not what it seems to be at first. Starts as a comedy with lots of references, then gets more serious and features some good character development.

@ImmLff
Thanks for the suggestions. I know quite a lot of those, but I'll look into what I haven't seen yet : Nejimaki Seirei Senki (probably the novel actually), Yo no Na wa Zushio, D-Frag!, I'm a Hero and Again!!.

[m]code breaker - action, supernatural, with a touch of reverse harem and romance. It's also really long manga and a 13 episode anime
(Disclaimer: may not be what ur looking for but still good manga)
