Hello,

I am looking for works with multiple protagonists, at least two, which are unrelated. Seriously, I'm kind of tired of seeing either a male/female duo which end up in love with each other (and I would seriously like to see such a duo without any romantic relationship at all) or completely uninteresting parties. But that's when I remember how great Gantz was because of its mess and unique composition of teams, and I would really like to see more of such works. Not that I'm looking for something similar to Gantz, though I wouldn't mind it, but I'm seeking for this trope of non-relation, with people joining hands while being completely different from each other in some way or at least clearly defined as each being unlike the other. Of course, there are many works where the protagonist has a group of pretty much random people, but they don't try to enhance the differences between them and it plays no role. For example, it could be a classical RPG party and I would be alright with that too, if only everyone had its own clear traits and wasn't a straightforward fighter with the same motives as everyone, even that guy who's supposed to be the protagonist rival.

Hopefully, you can give me some recommendations, and thanks for reading my blathering and not so good english.

The "unrelated" part is what's difficult, actually. But I'll give it a shot and see.

Boogiepop wa Warawanai -- This is a multiverse of sorts, so you should also try out the anime and the novels (only some of which are translated, sadly), if you want a better picture of the setting.
Bokurano
Billy Bat
Gunslinger Girl
Hi no Tori
Himitsu no Kaidan + Otome wa Inoru
Husk Eden
Nijigahara Holograph
Shiki
Shinkuu Yuusetsu
Song of the Cloud
The Voynich Hotel
Zai x 10, though it's just nonsensical comedy.
Doreiku - Boku to 23-nin no Dorei
Baccano! (Novel)
Durarara!!
Dadadadan.

And if you don't mind anime, I recommend K project and its sequels. It has several MC's with completely different motivations and MO's.

Will add more if I remember.

Thanks for the answer, and sorry for my late one. I have read a few of those but they seem like what I'm looking for, especially Song of the Cloud, I had been actually wishing to read that again but I'd forgotten the name.

7 Seeds

Otoyomegatari - It stays with two MCs for awhile, before going across the country with different characters and stories.
