I'd like to ask a few questions mainly directed at the male manga readers here. The questions may sound a little bit strange but I would appreciate honest & serious answers nonetheless.
The topic concerns the male view on the female characters in ecchi manga. Not the figures in general but the depiction of a female naked body.

a) Do you mind the nakedness? Do you ignore or appreciate? CAN you ignore nudity in manga?
b) Usally, do the naked bodies turn you on? (In terms of sexual arousal...)
c) Does it make a difference for you if the character's breasts are cencored/ showing the nipples?
d) Does it make a difference for you seeing a painted naked female with e.g. detailed breasts or seeing a real & naked women in TV?

I'he had a discussion with my bf about this recently and even though he never lies I just can't imagine, as a woman, that he was able to just ignore the drawn manga bodies or get turned on.
(I know that he was never interested in girls or saw the female body as thaaat special before he met me and never sexualized women).

A) I am an adult. Normal stuff. You get used to it. I don't feel responsible to anyone for looking at tits, because there's nothing that can keep me from doing it, unlike when a 12-year-old looks at a porno magazine and tries to be secretive about it. There's no catch in an ordinary nip-slip. Even softcore stuff can be hot if it's got a good atmosphere to it. If not, then it's worthless. I've seen a lot more graphic stuff, so mild shit like that won't accomplish much, because I've already gotten my hands to something that just does it better.

B) Not really. Gotta be better stuff than just pictures of nipples or panties. Weak stuff. Depends on what state I am in. If I hadn't accessed anything in a very very long time, seeing a weirdly shaped carrot could trigger some kind of a reaction in my mind. In the end it's all just symbolism. Even real life footage is just different colored pixels in a panel.

C) Don't like censoring. As annoying as entering a site that asks me if I am 18. It's soon been a decade when I was underaged. I am not sure whose benefit does it serve to censor anything. Whenever I see those lightsaber dicks for example, I can't help facepalming deep within to how retarded it is, to attempt obfuscate something that we are all there to look at from the beginning. Every human reads their smut or hentai or yaoi or whatever because they want to see the explicit content. Literally nobody is reading that stuff for anything else. Nobody will be thinking, "Ah, too bad they got these sex scenes in my hentai manga. I was reading this one for the plot where a guy lands a job as a substitute coach for horny high school girls, but at least they've made it less obvious that there's an erect dick in it, so it's easier for me to focus on his coaching career!" That's just retarded. The most pants-on-head-retarded ass-backwards thing out there. Can't believe there are people who think this is a necessity.

D) Not really. The only thing different is that actors are real people and they need to make the choice of appearing naked even though they probably are ashamed of it in person. That's when I think beyond the character. No need to do that with characters that aren't acted by a real human. I don't get any kind of an inner monologue with those. They're not real.

I will just answer in general broad strokes and not with an Ecchi focus.
A No, I mind bad writing and a shit outlook on life. I don´t ignore if i truly mind something, i just stop.
B Real healthy female bodies? Sure.
C Censorship is dumb and ultra-phony. Japan is certainly a true master in censorship and looking away.
D Real life is the real thing. Can´t beat that!
PS: Ecchi ain´t necessary nudity / porn but that discussion is endless.

I don't mind seeing it at all, I most of the time appreciate it, as for ignoring it, it's rarely the case but if the focus of the plot is on something of greater impact I will probably won't focus on it either.

It does, but that's highly dependent on the setting, for example, if it's during a important scene to which the nudity is not the focus, it most likely won't, and if it's part of something I don't like (ntr, torture...) it might even turn me off more that if it wasn't there

c) Does it make a difference for you if the character's breasts are censored/ showing the nipples?
It's always more pleasant and therefore a little more arousing if it's not censored, but not mind boggling if it is.

d) Does it make a difference for you seeing a painted naked female with e.g. detailed breasts or seeing a real & naked women in TV?
Yes, only a very slim % of "real women" can even come close to the beauty/sex appeal of an imagined character, especially in manga/anime.

I can't speak for all, but if the situations/setting follows on the ecchi I rarely leave without a halfie, and if the situation doesn't follow on the ecchi it's just pleasant to the eye like good looking scenery.

ps:

(a). I normally ignore it, unless it has something to do with the plot.

(b). Not at all.

(c). Not really. Censoring is okay if done right, but the mosaic pixels , and lightsaber dicks can be pretty ridiculous.

(d). No. Because I find real women more realistic and beautiful.
