errr... I hope the topic title makes sense and is relevant but I wasn't sure how else to put it.

Ok... so I'm looking for a romance where the main girl character has some ambition to do something with her life beyond becoming the wife of the guy she's dating.
Just to give a few examples.
- W juliet the main girl character wants to become an actor when she grows up.
- skip beat- main character becomes an actor.

these are only examples where the characters are actors, but other different suggestions would be great. Romance thrown into the mix would be fantastic, whether a major (i.e. w juliet) or small part (i.e. skip beat), although it dosen't have to be there. I'm also not asking exclusively for the 'strong female' factor in the story either (there have been about six of those posts, lol), just that at least the girl wants to do something with her life beyond the guy.

Try girl queen the girl wants to be queen and uhh maybe kurohime well, the female protagonist is ambitious in a sense that she wants to battle the gods, but from the manga example's you've given, I doubt you'll like it..

Don't know if you're looking for something outside of shoujo, but I'd recommend REC, a seinen manga.

There's only a few chapters out scanlated but I'd still recommend Kaichou wa-Maid-sama. The girl has a lot of fire to her though the main guy is one of those seemingly perfect type who is good at everything.

Uwasa no Midori-kun!! - she plays football, and wants to become a sportswoman.
Tsuki no Shippo - she wants to become a (don't remember if it wasn't at the beginning, but it could be a spoiler.

Nana. I mean it really shows the obstacles an ambitious (career driven) woman would experience in a relationship.

Honey and Clover could also be one. Hagu is a really driven and talented artist.

I would reccomend Kirarin Revolution - She wants to be a star.
It's sort of like Skip Beat, it's still different.
