The September issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine published the final chapter of Hajime Segawa's Tokyo ESP manga on Tuesday. The manga had a total of 76 chapters.

Vertical is releasing Tokyo ESP in North America, and it describes the manga's story:

Rinka Urushiba's world is turned upside down when she wakes up one day-after falling right through the floor.

Encouraged by another ESPer who believes that Rinka's destiny is to become a hero of justice, she soon learns to use her powers for good. And not a moment too soon, as those with less-than-admirable ambitions descend on Tokyo with their own sets of superpowers. As the mysterious glowing fish flitting through the city skies gift powers seemingly at random, foes become friends and alliances are made and broken.

And what about that flying penguin?

Segawa launched the "afterschool psychic action" series in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in 2010, shortly after ending The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei supernatural action series. Kadokawa published the 15th compiled book volume of Tokyo ESP on April 21, and Vertical published the manga's fifth volume in North America on June 14.

Anime director Shigehito Takayanagi adapted the manga into a 12-episode anime series at Xebec, which premiered in July 2014. Crunchyroll streamed the series in multiple territories as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in North America on February 23.

I've enjoyed it. It was nice parody of the superhero genre, and I really liked the characters. Felt the ending was bit rushed though, maybe problems on the executive end? Anyway, like Ga-rei before it, I really liked Segawa-sensei's latest work. It will stick with me for some time.
