Howdy.
I'm looking for a manga where the character or characters have interesting powers.
Kinda like One Piece. Luffy being made of rubber, Bartholomew Kuma with his seemingly adorable paw paw power.
I would like it if the use of the powers actually had some depths rather than just it being weird for the shock value of it.

Bonus would be an amazing story that goes along with it.

I already am reading Boku no Hero Academia, though not gonna lie I don't think most of the powers of the series are all that interesting.

If there was action that'd be great

Maybe Itsuya-san? She can breathe life into art.
Melo Holic is good, it uses the mind reading power in a cool way.
Kokodake no Himitsu he can open up his head to release weapons and take things in.
Kekkaishi has the general monster hunter thing going on but the powers they have are based on cube shapes, which I hadn't seen before.
If you are interested in reading non-manga, SuperMutant Magic Academy has lots of cool powers.
I hope this helps.

EDIT: Illusions, Lies, Truth (Novel) also fits

Well, for interesting and unique powers, the absolute go-to manga for me is Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken. I normally find series with more than 25 or so volumes daunting, but this is one of those manga you can read forever. Unusual (though very OTT) premises per each story arc, the most weird and creative powers you can think of being used in the weirdest and most creative ways.

Flow and Dice are webtoons, but they have manga art style. (The only difference from normal manga art is that they're full colored ).

In Flow, the characters can manifest physical power according to their spirit animals. Society is sort of structured around how powerful your spirit animal is. Art is great and the series is completed too.

In Dice the characters get to change themselves and their fates according to dice and the number of quests they complete. This one is a total mind game-esque manga; rlly rlly good. Also coloring is CRAZY good, like WOAH.

Cashero. Main character suddenly finds out that the more money he holds, the stronger he gets. (Other characters also get super-strength from other factors -- drinking alcohol, romantic love, etc.)

Murasakiiro no Qualia. Main character can talk to her parallel universe selves via her left hand. Her friend sees people as robots. A great hard sci-fi series about quantum mechanics.

Ueki no Housoku. Main character turns trash into trees. In general, Fukuchi Tsubasa is pretty good with the whole "interesting and unique powers" thing. I'm enjoying his currently serializing work Saike Mata Shite mo too.

Yume Tsukai. Main characters are dream messengers (though they don't always work strictly in dreams). Really trippy manga.

And I totally second Kekkaishi. I had no idea boxes could be used in so many different ways until I read it.

Some others that I have mixed feelings about but that you might enjoy:
Aphorism. Characters have powers based on the kanji character they draw on their hands.
Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous. Main character can change the sex of someone by, uh... Well, just try it out.

Chimoguri Ringo to Kingyobachi Otoko and its sequel. Blood diving!

Grainerie, Reincarnation no Kaben -- The uniqueness lies mostly in the source of their powers, though the powers themselves are pretty interesting.

Muhyo to Rouji no Mahouritsu Soudan Jimusho -- Summoned monsters from hell using magic law books to judge magical criminals/spirits/youkai.

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro -- Neuro's weapons from the demon world are all pretty unique.

Kataribe no List -- Magical items derived from Grimm's Fairy Tales that act in unique ways. A somewhat similar premise can be found in Mahou Gyoushounin Roma.

Bungou Stray Dogs -- Again, it's the source of their powers that's weird, rather than the powers themselves. The MC's power is pretty common, but plenty of side characters have really interesting abilities.

Taimashin -- Acupuncture to hunt demons...

Luck Stealer -- He assassinates people by robbing them of the luck that keeps them from dying of random accidents. And again a method of assassination: the protagonist of Funouhan can kill people through the power of suggestion.

Moyashimon -- Seeing and communicating with microbes.

The Clock Workers -- Manipulating people's "time clocks" to save or to kill. And on a related note: Ultrabaroque Deprogrammer uses brainwashing for both good and bad purposes; though in this case it's more a skill gained through training (plus some natural talent) than a superpower.

Zion -- Seeds which grow into trees that destroy cities, cause diseases, etc. Used as a method of punishment by the MC's organisation.

Yumekui Merry -- Dream forecasting.

Edit -
Loveless has a very unique fighting style: one character uses verbal spells that then become reality with varying degrees of success, depending on the strength of their patner's resolve to defeat the enemy pair.

Yumekui Kenbun -- Dream-diving, dream maniuplation, "dream-eating."

Paperweight Eye -- Making dolls that then come to life and obey the maker's orders...for the most part.

Doll Star -- Hearing the voices of dolls/stuffed toys.

Homunculus -- The protagonist can see 'homunculi,' which are a sort of representation of a person's repressed inner thought processes.

As a JoJO's fan I have to ask what you think of it.

I actually already love the Jojo series a lot. It's bizarre and quirky but idk, some of the powers are unique but I don't think they are all too different. Then again I haven't been reading it lately. ~_~
