I've seen grappler baki and New Grappler baki anime years ago decided to read the manga. Does anyone know what volume/chapter the anime ended on compared to the manga?

if im not mistaken, Anime covers Series 1, Grappler Baki. So New Grappler Baki would be where you would pick it up.

The two anime seasons combined only cover the 'Grappler Baki' part of the manga. (they skip some stuff here and there as well though)
If you've seen all of the anime you can just start the second manga series: 'New Grappler Baki' from the beginnning to continue the story.
The third manga series, Baki:Son of Ogre is currently still running in Japan.
Grappler Baki 42 volumes
New Grappler Baki 31 volumes
Baki: Son of Ogre 10+ volumes and still running.
There are also a couple of gaiden volumes with sidestories.
The character Hayanama Kaoru has his own spinoff manga 'Scarface' which is at 4 volumes now.
Also, if you like Grappler Baki you should definately try Garouden by the same manga author.
