Quantum Revival Scans is currently recruiting proofreaders, redrawers, and Japanese-to-English translators!

We are currently working on the webmanga The Vampire Part-Timer Kirishima-kun, which is a 4-panel (4-koma) comedy about a vampire named Kirishima (and other supernatural beings) who works at a convenience store in the human world in modern-day Japan. The chapters are released in two parts (the original release does this), and the page length for each part ranges between 4-8 pages. As of this post, we have one cleaner/typesetter (me), two translators, and one proofreader/QC (does both) working on the project. Our proofreader/QC works on multiple manga series at a time and isn't able to dedicate too much time to this series as we would like in order to release 1-2 parts (1 chapter) each week. We are currently in need of a second proofreader to help us maintain our frequent releases and (hopefully) eventually catch up with the original release if we maintain our current pace.

We are in dire need of 1-2 proofreaders and 1-2 redrawers!!! We are also accepting Japanese-to-English translators, but our need for translators isn't high at the moment (though you can still apply). Hello! We're currently in SERIOUS NEED OF REDRAWERS! My group is only working on one 4-koma series (The Vampire Part-Timer Kirishima-kun) at the moment and there aren't too many redraws to do for each chapter. Almost all of them are over easy backgrounds, spare the rare exception. We just need one redrawer to help us out with this one series. Hello again! Quantum Revival Scans is in need of 1-2 Japanese-to-English translators. We might need someone to take over translating the short 4-koma webmanga The Vampire Part-Timer Kirishima-kun. We're also looking into taking over the scanlation of the manga Hensoku-kei Quadrangle because the current group working on it is considering dropping it and our group would like to pick up a second manga. We would need a translator for each of these manga, unless one person is okay with working on both at the same time.

We are still in need of 1-2 Japanese-to-English translators so that we can pick up one or two more manga series. We are interested in picking up one or more of the following four manga series, depending on what you (new translator(s)) are interested in/willing to translate:

1) Chisa x Pon - A hardcore ecchi/borderline (softcore) hentai about a guy and girl who meet at a group date at the beach with his two friends and her two friends. The guy and his friends are trying to get laid and lose their virginity. They decide who will be paired with which girl and the main guy, Ponta, ends up with a shy girl named Chisa. By the end of the group date, both of their friends got laid and they stay virgins since she was afraid and didn't want to lose her virginity. However, she decides to keep in contact with Ponta and they become friends and eventually start dating. The story follows their relationship from both of their perspectives as Ponta slowly gets Chisa to start opening up and get closer to losing her virginity with him. There are multiple scenes that contain sexual content, but they don't show anything below the waist (since it's not technically a hentai). This manga has finished its story, but was only translated through Ch. 11 (of 50). I have the RAWs for all of the remaining volumes/chapters.

2) Seitokai no Otanoshimi - A 4-koma slice of life comedy about a closet otaku who ends up joining the student council, only to find out that they are all hardcore otaku. He refuses to reveal that he is also a huge otaku. Comedy ensues. This manga has finished its story, but was only translated through Ch. 4 (of 89). I have only found the RAWs for Volume 1, which contains Ch. 1-15.

3) Hensoku-kei Quadrangle - A time travel mystery romance about a guy who, when he used to be in high school, was a delinquent. Some other delinquents who didn't like him ended up raping a girl he had a crush on when they thought they had a relationship. Years later, when he sees her again, she is no longer the happy girl that he once knew. He then meets a girl who tells him that she can send him back in time to fix everything and find a happy ending. He accepts, but soon learns that things weren't as they seemed back in high school...and he isn't the only one who has been sent back in time. Filled with mystery, drama, and various romantic pursuits as part of a crazy love web. This manga is ongoing, but is possibly getting dropped by another group soon and we are looking into take over the translation/scanlation if possible/necessary. There have been 12 chapters translated so far. I will need to find RAWs if we end up taking over the translation/scanlation.

4) Virgin na Kankei R (sequel to Virgin na Kankei) - The sequel manga series to Virgin na Kankei, this is also a hardcore ecchi/borderline (softcore) hentai. After , the main guy gets transferred to a different branch in the middle of nowhere (farmlands/mountains) in Japan. This branch of the company isn't doing well and it's up to the main guy to fix things. He ends up accidentally (I'm not kidding) getting into sexual situations with various women, the first of whom is a spy from another company that is trying to drive the branch he just transferred to out of business. There are multiple sex scenes, but they don't show anything below the waist (since it's not technically a hentai). This manga has finished its story, but was only translated through Ch. 11 (of 36). I have the RAWs for Volume 2 (Ch. 7-12) and Volume 6 (of 6) in Japanese, and I could only find the Chinese fan translation (scanlation) for Vol. 3-5, which used the Japanese RAWs. I found someone who is interested in translating the Chinese fan translations into English, but I'm waiting to hear back from them. However, I will need someone to translate Vol. 6 from Japanese to English. I have Vol. 2 Ch. 12's RAWs in Japanese, but I know where to get the Chinese fan translation (scanlation) if needed.

We are also taking suggestions for other manga to pick up, so if you would like to join us but would like us to pick up a manga that you would like to recommend to us (and have us clean/typeset and release it), please let us know. We do not accept recommendations for the following genres: yaoi/shounen ai, hardcore (fetish) hentai, gender bender, psychological, horror, and mecha.
