Hello,
I’m looking for some recommendations for manga/ln/anime with MC (gender doesn’t matter) who is transferred (reincarnated or whatever possibilities exist) to past or alternate world, that is focusing on politics or commerce.

Here is list of “must have” for it:
•Smart protagonist
•Focus on politics or commerce (ruling, managing shop, peddling…)
•No fighting, and ABSOLUTELY NO training focused chapters (well fighting is ok if it is very short and rare)
•If there is harem, its members need to have some realistic reason (no more “oh he was nice to me” crap; money and power are great reasons)
•No “fluffy” feeling, ok not sure how to describe it, but I want the world to feel realistic for its technological and cultural level.
•“Gray” characters

The closest I have read so far is Death March, but it has too much fighting, love for no good reasons, way too clear distinction between good and bad characters, can’t really think about anything else.

Thanks for any recommendation smile

I would definitely recommend Koshaku Reijo no Tashinami (Novel)
The story is about the protagonist assuming a role of a person in an otome game. However, she only assumes the character near the supposed 'end' of the game and then goes on and manage a territory. There is rarely any fighting and it focuses on politics and commerce. Don't know about the other ones though but definitely one that should fit some of your points

Tensei Oujo wa Kyou mo Hata o Tatakioru (Novel)
Quote
I was reborn as a princess in the world an otome game with memories of my previous life.

Wait, what? I’m the Heroine’s love rival? You’re kidding! I have no intention of falling in love with any of those pathetic guys, because the one I like is a support character, the Commander of the Royal Knights.

Except the Heroine, after being reincarnated in this shitty game where the support characters are way better than the love interests, is threatening to bring down my own life with flags, and I am determined to strike them down.
in spite of this description there is a lot of politics, the heroine has yet to be introduced yet, and there is a lot of humor in how she keeps accidentally making the heroine to be love interest's fall for her all the while changing them so they aren't as creepy as they were in the original game.
