Koibana! - Koiseyo Hanabi I think fits that, though it's still ongoing........uhm, geez, I'm not sure just how many others I can mention that he specifically has a different girlfriend when the story starts.......if I added ones where he was kind of a player with kinda/sorta "girlfriends" and then came around to our female mc or that he switches back and forth I can probably come up with a few more.....Eensy-Weensy Monster, GE - Good Ending, Kyou, Koi o Hajimemasu, Nozoki Ana and Saesang Bring It On!.

Yeah, sorry, it's definitely different.......yeah, bona fide boyfriend stealer ones, sorry, I'm just not sure how many are actually out there with such a specific scenario.

Bambi to Dhole sorta fits. The male lead has a kid and a dead girlfriend so basically he has the girlfriend's shadow over him and it was tough for the female lead.
