What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

So I been reading Youjo Senki after discovering trailer of the anime next season. But the translation is not yet finished, so now I have an urge for some proper military manga/novel.
I want something with a realistic military. Magic may or may not be part of it, but it should not be the primary weapon of the soldiers. Technology can't be too advanced, no later than our WW2 technology. Proper military protocol would be preferable.
