I've recently read this manga titled Smells Like Green Spirit and quickly became fond of it.
Can you suggest similar manga such as this.
A manga that portrays a realistic coming out of gay man and their struggles fitting in the society.
Thanks in advance. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Maybe look in the tag Realistic Homosexual Relationship (sorry I can't make the link seem to work but you can find it in the tags). I only saw the anime, but I thought the coming out scene in Antique Bakery was good as well as Ono's troubles with society, but there were also of course unrealistic aspects.

Shimanami Tasogare, definitely.

Seconding Antique Bakery, and if you don't mind the characters a bit older, her What Did You Eat Yesterday? also has some great (though not earth-shattering or angsty) coming out scenes (made more realistic by the fact that Shirou has come out multiple different times to different people).

Koimonogatari (TAGURA Tohru) also has a pretty low-key/sweet coming out scene.

Miyamoto Kano is often praised for her realistic portrayals of gay/bisexual men, especially her Hydra/Rules series. I find her stuff tends to be slightly too angsty for me but your mileage may vary, and all that.

Welcome to Room #305! is also pretty great, but it's not BL, and focuses more on the straight roommate (learning to be not homo/transphobic) than the actual queer characters, though they are a significant part of the webtoon.
