Um, isn't FT Island still pop? "Pop" is just catch all for popular music. It refers to chart toppers, or any well syndicated artists in general. For example Gotye, fun, Adele, Lupe, Cee Lo, Foster the People, etc are all still have their hands in "pop".
But back on topic. Epik High. Seriously, they've got plenty of heart and seoul. Some other rappers aren't that bad either. Maybe some YG? (They're backed by Movement Lifestyle!) Everyone else? Meh.

i took it the literal way...anyway i like how they're an instrumental band and focus on making music rather than performing/dancing
edit: but as far as i know they're always referred to as a rock band

I have a love-hate relationship with k-pop 
Can't stand any of the girl groups (I've listened to as many of the major groups I could find and they just seem like clones to me, sorry) and I feel the same toward must of the boy groups...
BUT I love MBLAQ, EXO-K, and Dalmatian!

Huge K-pop fan!
Favorites are Big Bang, Shinee, 2ne1, Sistar, U-Kiss, Boa, Nu'est, K Will, JYJ, CNblue, Infinite, and BEG.
I also love other Korean music.
Especially Glen Check, Gogostar, eAeon, The Koxx, and Superkidd.

I'm not really familiar with K-pop. The only artist I like is Rain. Not big fan of pop music, any pop.

I don't like Kpop, I love only TVXQ/JYJpop. their korea or japanese songs are awesome the king of kpop! all bands respect them... maybe your oppas too! I only listen TVXQ/JYJ's songs, some jpop and anime ost

My obsession on k-pop is still florishing, but I can say I have a few groups I listen to. Mostly I like SHINee, U-KISS, MYNAME, NU'EST and Boyfriend. While I like the innocent boys, my sister listens to Big Ban, Super Junior and such (which I can't stand  ).

I can't stand any of the girl bands either! I haven't found one that I like yet; I don't know if it's because of their voices (I like male voices better) or because of the way they are potrayed. I don't like the way they dress and in k-pop, where videos can get weird and the singer is key, esthetic is very important.

Maybe it's just me, but I love kpop. Not so much recently but kpop used to be everything to me. Obviously at the top of the list was snsd. Ice princess jessica was so cute. But recently none of them had any great songs...and haru haru is an obvious favorite as well

2PM, SNSD, IU, and CNblue are the main ones I listen to.
Been quite hooked on SNSD's latest album lately, and I hunger for some new 2PM material. MOOOOOAR, I say!
