This week's poll from KaoriNite is a little random. How do you eat your apples? I wanted to keep it simple, so I didn't include options for slicing vs. eating whole, or removing stem vs. leaving it in, or eating from top-down vs. bottom-up.

You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: On a typical morning, what time do you wake up?
Choices:
Before 4 AM - votes: 152 (1.6%)
4-5 AM - votes: 341 (3.6%)
5-6 AM - votes: 773 (8.1%)
6-7 AM - votes: 1420 (14.8%)
7-8 AM - votes: 1337 (14%)
8-9 AM - votes: 1051 (11%)
9-10 AM - votes: 841 (8.8%)
10-11 AM - votes: 569 (5.9%)
After 11 AM - votes: 852 (8.9%)
There is no consistency in my wake-up schedule - votes: 2232 (23.3%)
There were 9568 total votes.
The poll ended: July 15th 2017

Of the people with regular schedules, between 6-7 appears to be the most popular. I guess another poll could be how early do you wake up before your first scheduled activity (like work or school), or how long does it take you to get ready to leave your home between waking up and actually leaving?

How I eat my apples? Processed. Hooray for allergies.

I don't like apples. Can't remember the last time I ate one, actually. Weird 'cause I love apple juice - it's my 2nd favourite after grape. But solid apples? Too bland for me; I prefer strong-tasting fruits like mango or pineapple, plus I live in a tropical country so apples tend to be expensive here. Cooked apples (semi-ripe green apple stewed in spices) is popular with my family, but I don't like things that are both sweet and spicy at the same time, so I don't eat that, either.

On the rare occasions where I have eaten a raw apple, it wasn't peeled but it was sliced. Still voted for the last option, though.

Though I eat apples once in a blue moon, I think I have never peeled one and my mother probably did it a few times for me when I was little, before saying it was too bothersome to peel them.

When I was a kid, my mother or grandmothers would peel them for me. Nowadays, I rarely eat apples anymore (they sometimes make my digestive system act up), but when I do, I don't peel them. It's just too much of a pain.

Yay my random poll was chosen! I wanted to ask because I never peel apples and had never heard of anyone peeling apples until I read manga. The only reason I would peel an apple is to cook it, like when making apple pie or something. Besides, isn't the peel the best part?

Isn't the peel the most nutritious part of the apple? Not to mention it's just a pain to peel 'em, just eat the damn thing.

The only reason an apple should ever be peeled is because it's going into a pie biggrin

No. I don't and you're not supposed to do so anyway.

Plus a advice on that topic, don't eat apple seeds knowingly, mainly don't chew them. They contains Cyanide (CN). Though very little, approximately about 0.49 mg, which your body can detoxify very easily, why eat them knowingly/consciously? Right?! biggrin

well, I almost never peel them, but if the apple is big, I cut it in 4 pieces and remove the central part. If it's small enough, I eat it as is. It's just, if it's big, it's very hard to bite into, and there's too much juice, it gets on your hands, and around your mouth... that's bothersome! So it's easier just to cut it.

Nope, I never peel them, not even when making apple pie; I'm just a bit too lazy. biggrin

I guess it depends on where I've bought them apples.
In a crate, from the farmer? Just wash 'em and eat away. From the choose-your-own pit at the supermarket? Wash them (with soap, too) and peel them before eating, because I don't know how many people have touched them beforehand and how filthy were their hands.
It just took me one instance of seeing someone gauging the ripeness of all the fruit without using the provided gloves; no the same older gentleman I had seen a few minutes before, exiting the toilet without washing his hands... eek

Iove apples but I always peel them when I eat them. (actually do that for 90% of fruits tbh). I just don't like the texture of the skin and the contrast between the flesh & peel. It gives me shivers just thinking about biting into a apple with it's peel. I was called a child before but oh well I enjoy it much better without it.

I prefer fruits that are easier to eat. I washed, peeled, and sliced my apple, that's why it's bothersome to eat apples. I guess I just want to lower the risk of consuming pesticide. Wouldn't mind to eat the skin if it's guaranteed organics.
