Sorry to ask again so soon after my last question, but I just remembered a very very vague memory of this manga, which I must have read at least eight years ago.

It was about a group of psychic kids living on an island, and I think they'd escaped from an experimental facility, or possibly the rest of the world was falling apart and the island was a safe refuge. They sometimes would use their psychic abilities to hunt or communicate or set things on fire. Their peaceful life is disrupted by an adult scientist who wants to recapture them for military purposes. Then the kids set a boat on fire.

Any ideas? Thank you for the expertise!

Maybe Kaguyahime? It´s all over the place.

MMmmnah, I think the art was less mannerist and shoujo-ish? More emotive or realistic. Somewhere between Yotsuba! and 20th Century Boys. I also remember it being a shortish manga, anywhere between a one-shot to 10 chapters (maybe 30? man my memory is bad).

I think the youngest child is the most potentially destructive, with very strong telekinetic powers (and maybe wears goggles?), the older girl has pyrokinesis and is hot-tempered. The boy's powers weren't very good for offensive fighting but I remember him being the smartest character.

The first story in Present for Me is sorta like that, though it wasn't in English 8 years ago.

That's it!! Thank you. Yeah, it says it was first translated in 2012, so it must have been 5 years ago, not 8.

Man, it's a lot shorter than I remember, I thought there was more plot to it and I was wrong about half the details, my brain warped the scientist into a much more sinister and competent character to overcome. Still pretty decently drawn tho, and I remembered the goggles right!
