I seem to remember a romantic comedy (or a comedy shonen?) manga (or anime?) that included in it's large cast a big sister to the main love interest that definitely had a sister complex...but was already married to a man (or maybe just engaged?). Seems like she was always interfering with the main couple's romance because she hated all men (or maybe just "manly" men or just overprotective of her sister), except for her husband, who was a complete doormat and couldn't do anything to convince her to stop, or even get her to come home. He might have been the one funding her various schemes. They were secondary characters at best. Probably not appearing in every character, or even volume.
I specifically remember the husband jovially pleading with his wife to "Please, come home", but was usually just ignored or blown off. And I seem to remember that later on, the husband and wife had a kind of touching moment with each other where she told him that "all men should be like him". I think the husband was kind of pudgy, while the wife was sterotypically a knockout.
Feels like they would be in something like Ranma or Kimagure Orange Road, but I can't remember enough to search for them. I might even be combining a few different characters. Stupid brain
