Within Temptation.

eek Their music is great, no need to be ashamed of it.
Or at least, I'm not. cool

Anyway, depends who I'm with, some friends luckily share the same passion for really weird artists. But I'd say some game music I occasionally listen to can be really too much for them.

I guess i'm kinda ashamed to like N*sync...

Nooo! N*sync are awsome! laugh

I'm not really ashamed of the music I like... although it does seem odd for someone of my age to love the Osmonds so much. none

Some 1960's or 1980's pop groups, such as Bangles? I used to own albums or compilations featuring their songs in the 1990's, before the Internet age.

I don't have their songs on my MP3 player but I sometimes search for their videos on YouTube. XD

No, I shouldn't be ashamed of that at all. laugh

Hmm... current bands, such as the Automatic? I do like some of their songs, esp. from the 1st album. But a lot of their songs are just meh.

And I 3rd or 4th... anime OSTs because when I like some OP/ED songs and check out the other songs by the same band, they usually suck. dead

anyways here is my list of "I am going to die of embarrassment if anyone finds out ever" shame

Mudvayne (but only because I really love them or used to I might be comming down off that now)

And Mudvayne is fine, i love their bassist.

I think Mudvayne is one of the few bands that I take seriously. I treat most music whimsically so for me to treat it seriously is a big deal. therefore if I were to be criticized on my choice it would matter. therefore as I admit to liking them I of course project a negative response onto the person I am talking to and die a little inside. So it is a completely self manufactured shame but shame nonetheless.

D:, awww, but Mudvayne is awesome </biased opinion.>
I'm listening to them right now actually, not that it matters.
@kaerfehtdeelb - Yeah, they have a pretty good bassist. But the singer (Chad) is my favorite, I love how he can actually scream - and live too, unlike a few vocalists whom I'm not even going to mention.

Who I feel shame to listening to:
Evan-freaking-escence: I'll be blunt - I've seriously never realized how whiny Amy Lee's voice was [and IMO, it sounds pretty emo sometimes, too]. I still like them (somewhat), but I swear, if they make another CD that is basically like their last two, I'm going to go nuts.

Bullet for My Valentine: I still like "The Poison". But their new songs suck, even more so when I learned they stole a riff from a different band [I think it's for their song, "Hearts burst into fire" or something.] But they're still on my iTunes, so I listen to them, occasionally.

other than that, there really isn't anything else left to say.

That is an understatement. If you ever isolate the bass tracks laid down by Ryan you'll hardly recognize the songs. He is one of the most technically gifted and skillful bassists around today. Imo, they need to let that jewel shine more.

Lil Wayne.

As much as he started sucking after making Da Drought 3, I have hope that he'll stop this foolishness (HURR I'm a rock star now even though I can't sing or play guitar) by failing miserably and going back to his old ways.

It was not meant to be .___.
Nope, never done the isolation thing, and I doubt I probably ever would, knowing he's good [or a "jewel" as you like to call him] is good enough.

Alright, I'll admit it.

I used to like Guns N Roses at one time (around the time Use Your Illusion was released)... but thank goodness, I evolved (going to a concert and finding out that they were gimmicky posers also helped)

That was probably the lowest point in my life, musical taste wise.

Phew, glad I got that off my chest. laugh

Apparantly, liking Celine Dion is considered bad taste. Along with Phil Collins. I mean seriously, so what? roll eyes
