I'm trying to find stories were the characters fall in love slowly and their relationship develops throughout the manga. I don't mind the genre. Any suggestions?

Cardcaptor Sakura has this. (Although I haven't read the manga. But I think the anime also has the relationship between Sakura and Syaoran blossom more slowly, but not in the 'this is taking forrreeeverrr'-slowly.) Did you already read Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne since you have the mangaka's art in you avatar?

Oh, and Kare Kano. Furuba does that, even though only covered the series from the anime (I hear the manga drags toward the end but that's development, despite it being slow...).

mmm... I guess I could say Nodame Cantabile, even though the female character develops an instant crush on the male protagonist, he takes much longer to return her feelings... it is actually really cute... and FAKE is another one, although this is considered BL. Those are the ones that come to mind, but I'll think of more... ;)

I recommend Hana Yori Dango. It's simply too good.

Umm... I would say that it doesn't develop biggrin. I read about 8 volumes before I stopped and there was none at all.

That's why he said it takes a long long time, right? How about some reading comprehension lessons, my friend?
