I think I've read all the best of the manga out there that I could enjoy. I've had quite a few anime that I only follow than I've finished all but Code Geass. So I would like to pick up some more anime.

The ones I'm looking for are not on manga yet or better than the counter-part manga, and are ones that you yourself would enjoy.

Genres I'm into
Shounen
Sienen
Romance
Action
Sci-Fi
Mystery
Harem
Adventure
Comedy

Animes I enjoyed
Darker than Black
Death Note
Elfen Lied
Code Geass (still watching)

And some more, just cannot remember. Also I dislike female leads and prefer male leads. Adventure/comedy are one of my favorites genres of all. Complete/ongoing I don't mind.

Kaze no Stigma is a pretty good anime, umm Maburaho, Zero no Tsukaima - a little more light. Maybe Samurai Deeper Kyo or Project ARMS.

I've recommended these on some other post, but here I go again:

For this season:
Kurenai.... best show of 2008 so far. Last episode just aired yesterday.
Kaiba.... Watch it and you'll see. Don't let the art put you off at first, it's really beautiful. Arguably as good as Kurenai.

From past seasons:
MuShiShi.... probably the best example of visual storytelling.... ever! The manga is awesome, but I think the anime is better than the manga due to the addition of excellent music and beautiful hand-painted backgrounds.
Kemonozume.... deep, dirty, beautiful, dark, uplifting.

My opinions may differ greatly from the mainstream audience, but I stand by them.
cool

Some of your examples seem like they're in opposition to what you're asking for, but I think I understand anyway. I tried for more lighthearted stuff though.

Full Metal Panic! (and its two sequels) (Sci-Fi, Romance, Adventure, Comedy, Mecha)
Macross F (Ongoing, Mecha/Romance/Comedy/Sci-fi/Action)
Cowboy Bebop (Sci-fi, Adventure, Comedy)
Ef -A Tale of Memories- (Seinen, Romance, Drama)
True Tears (Seinen, Romance, Drama, Harem)
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Seinen, Romance, Psychological, Comedy, Sci-fi)

EDIT: Third Kure-nai as well. I think the Mushishi manga is better, but that's also excellent.

I stuck to things that are better than the manga counterparts. FMP! is probably the closest to what you want, but Haruhi is far and away the best one there (IMO, at least).
