The problem is the PS3's too expensive...anyone here actually have one? heard sony cut back prices by $100 but took out the feature where you can still play PS2 games on the PS3

Don't have a PS3.. Although, will get one in two months or so..

@Meta: FF8 was also the first one I played.. I have some really good memories on that game..

I heard different, they took out a couple of things that were not really needed, but you can still play PS2 games. If only the took out the bluray player and replaced it with an old fashion dvd, prices would fall quite a bit.

but you can't play PS3 games since they're using bluray...but yeah prices would fall...saw a bluray writer/burner cost almost $800 thats the same price as my computer

Wow, expensive.. @_@.. No wonder, Sony is losing money with PS3..

Looks like XBOX 360 is kicking PS3's ass..

That's true.. If PS3 didn't had its exclusive titles, like the final fantasy series, nobody would even bother buying it...

and how many tomes have you heard of a ps3 melting its own parts, not near as many as the 360 has. Everyone that I know that has a 360 has had to send it away at least twice for repairs, or get a new one.



That is something I seriously disagree with, I'd would still buy it because it has the most rpgs still, It doesn't even have to be the ff series. What does Xbox have Shooter, shooter, and more shooters. I hate shooters.

yeah...i heard of that...there was some sort of mistake in the manufacturing of the xbox360 that they had to refund all the customers who paid for repairs before the discovery and extended their warranty for another year

They say they've found the problem but thats a lie they are still breaking left and right.

The final fantasy series was just an example, I could've taken any other RPG.. And don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing PS3..

I'm a loyal fan of Playstation... I had the 1 and have the 2 and will soon, hopefully, buy the 3..

I can't imagine myself buying an Xbox.. like ever..

never had an xbox only playstation1,2 and the psp...i'll think about getting the PS3 when the price drops to at least $300

There is a graphic patch for FF7 pc version somewhere in the net, maybe you should try that out.
