1. Berserk - due to the simple fact its tragedy outmatches every other anime's tragedy. I like The characters, the fight sequences and the overall story. And of course how I see many works in anime that draws inspiration from this tragic and brutal tale.
2. Gantz - The concept of dead normal people hunting down aliens is awesome.
3. Franken Fran - the moe version of Frankenstein's monster performing surgery and ironic twists is what makes this such a great read. Provided you have the stomach for it.
4.Highschool of the Dead - Its like Dawn of dead. But in Manga.
5. Ubel Blatt - Its like Berserk. But cuter and more magical.
