It's pretty open at the moment as to who she'll end up with but at the moment I want her to get with Haruka. Q-Ta's *too* nice - to the point where it's unnerving. It feels like he's treating Yura as a younger sister rather than a girlfriend. And I'm unsure about Yura's manager - his feelings are still ambiguous as of now but I can see him becoming a future love interest. Haruka, on the other hand, seems to have more "chemistry" with Yura and would treat her as a lover. Even though he gave her the cold shoulder in the beginning he never came off as someone who was controlling/abusive (coughHotGimmickcough). So yes, Haruka gets my vote - unless the mangaka makes him do a 180!

Having not read Hot Gimmick, I'm going to base my prediction based on what I've seen, and not what the mangaka has done before. (I also agree that the mangaka would be stupid to follow this storyline too closely to HG.)

A) I think Q-ta originally liked Yura as Onizuka's daughter, and he's since grown beyond that to actually caring about her. I think she just doesn't trust that's the case at this point, though she wants to believe in it. I don't believe that he'd come back to spend as much time with her as he does if it was just because she's his idol's daughter. I give Q-ta that much credit for now.

B) I don't see her ending up with the manager. He's a great manager, but a poor love interest the way he is. She needs to have that stable point, and that doesn't need to be confusing.

C) Yeah, Haruka likes her, but he's annoyed by it because he's always competing with his brother. (If anything, I think this lends itself to the idea that Haruka becomes the "evil" one who's trying to get in their way, if one of the two must become more obsessive. Surprise me and don't do this, please!)

I honestly think she'll start out dating Q-ta behind her manager's back and/or her manager (or Haruka himself) will want her to date Haruka for the press it will generate, which will upset and confuse Yura since she likes Q-ta, but she'll go along with it, at least initially.

If this happens, it can go one of two ways:
1. Haruka will be fairly mean to Q-ta about it. And if so, I'd like Yura to catch Haruka doing it and dump him - consider it character growth on Yura's part (and more press).
OR (more likely)
2. Haruka will genuinely be nice to Yura, and that will confuse her even further as to which of the brothers she would rather spend time with. Having to spend more time with Haruka initially is to his benefit. (I prefer this direction - I don't want to see either of the brothers to be made out as "evil" because it's less realistic.)

What I really expect to happen is:
She starts secretly seeing Q-ta. I suspect that Haruka will eventually reach his limit of dealing with "them," since Yura will continue to rely on him for advice, and he'll finally make her understand the situation, at which point, relations on the series will become really strained. (As in they have to do a kiss scene, and he's not acting anymore sort of thing.) She can't tell Q-ta, she can't talk to Haruka, and she'll probably try talking to one of the other girls on set, which will get her in trouble because it'll be leaked, or her manager will find out, or something.

At some point, I think she'll turn them both away until she figures herself out.

I also think that Q-ta is going to change or something. I can't help but feel that something is off with him. o_o;; Like somewhat fake? I'm cheering for Haruka in this one because I think he has a "pure" heart. 8) He blushes and says what he feels with her instead of trying to assure or please her like Q-ta.

i've been rooting for haruka, because i think his crush on yura is really cute! i really think he's the best match for her, and he'll probably end up with her if the ending is similar to hot gimmick. plus, the person the main character falls for at the beginning isn't usually the person they end up with, so it's likely yura will fall for him eventually, hopefully he won't get too involved in their relationship though; i want yura to fall for him on her own.

q-ta is fine, but he doesn't really love yura, though he is beginning to like her as a person. i don't think he'll turn evil like azusa in hot gimmick, but yura will be hurt by him somehow and turn to haruka, or she'll just fall in love with haruka instead and end up ditching him.

yura's boss is okay too, but i don't like the romance that starts to happen between them [aka, he totally has a crush on her]. i think he's more like someone she looks up to and trusts, and can turn to when she feels sad, but not someone she would fall in love with. i really hope that he doesn't get too involved in her love life, like hatsumi's brother did in hot gimmick, but he probably will.

I'm all for Haruka or the manager. From what I gather from some of the spoilers, it just feels like the couple got together too soon. I get the feeling that Miki Aihara wants this series to run for a while, so I'm expecting some twist and turns up ahead. Miki Aihara doesn't strike me as the type of manga-ka to write about "the obstacles a couple will face to be together," so I suspect that the conflicts will arise from unexpected areas. It could be the parents or it could be that Yura finds out that she has feelings for one of the other guys (like some of you have mentioned).

I don't necessarily think she'll make Q-Ta out to be some evil jerk like Azuma either, but I do believe that circumstances will come up that will create changes of heart.

Does anyone know how old the manager is anyway?

at first, i really thought she'd end up with Q-Ta. but as the series progressed, i have a feeling it'd be Haruka. i've read hot gimmick, aihara miki is a mangaka who's fond of complications and drama so i'm thinking the series would probably stretch on.



i agree, Q-Ta doesn't strike me as a jerk like Asuza was in hot gimmick. Azusa was really suspicious from the start, so it wasn't quite the shocker that he ended up doing what he did.



anyway, i think Yura would fall for Haruka later on the series. i think the reason why Yura is so into Q-Ta is because he inspired her to do her best during that audition and has always supported her from the start. it's really obvious how Haruka feels, he just doesn't realize or know how to express it. Q-Ta is just fond of her, but may evolve into something deeper as the series progresses, IDK. the way i see it, eventually the twins will fight for her. i mean, they already are, but it's in a subtle way and they are already very competitive with each other (in Haruka's side anyway). since Yura and Haruka will eventually end up spending more time together during the filming of the drama, she will get to know him better. i'm rooting for Haruka. he's such a nice guy. i only hope, he won't end up having ryoki's character. i hated and loved the guy >_<

the manager is 32, by the way. it was mentioned at the end of one of the chapters in volume 1, i believe

I'm rooting for Haruka too, just because I like to see the bad boy turn good. Q-Ta is too nice. I also hope we don't get a repeat of Ryoki, but we knew right off the bat what type of guy Ryoki was. He never changed from beginning to end, but so far Haruka seems to be a decent guy, though a little standoffish. At the very least, he's much more likable than Ryoki.

It's too bad that the manager is 32 (thanks for the info!), because now I don't see him having a viable chance. I was hoping he was in his 20s, but he looks like a long shot third wheel.

Ok, after having read chapter 16, I/we could be very wrong about Mizorogi-san. =)

My Prediction: I'm pretty sure she will end up with Haruka-san, but I think Shachou will realize his feeling for her and tell her and she will be really confused and then reject him. She will go out with Q-Ta-kun first, however. She'll fall for Haruka-san eventually, though. I don't think Q-Ta-kun will be evil, and he is almost defenintaly not evil right now. If you think he is because he's in Show buisness, then Haruka-san, Shachou, Nanase-kun, and Yura-chan all are as well. He might go a little bit evil in order to try and steal Yura-chan away from Haruka-san or some other guy. I think it is very possible that Nanase-kun will fall in love with her but I don't think that he will ever have much of a chance. Him and Shachou are kinda in the same boat as Shinogu-kun from HG. Which is sad, I really liked Shinogu-kun

i also like Q-ta's airheadness<--i see him this way.lol. but sometimes i feel that he's uber-dense.
and for mizorogi,i guess he's alright.but how old is he?!?
