Good Day all!

I am reading or have read well over 100 different series, and as you may guess, I am running out of things to read that “jump out” at me. I read all the basics that any “geek” should be reading, so I am looking for lesser known series.

I read most anything if the story is good(though I tend to avoid yaoi, I will read it if the story is good) Art is usually important, but Angel Densetsu is one of my favourite series, and it’s art is barely above chicken scratches in the first few chapters.

Most of the series I read are action/martial arts with comedy or romance with comedy, but I love good horror/psychological ones as well.

I'm pretty open to reading anything, simply want some Ideas. If you can help I'd appreciate it.

~SS

Well, you seem to like comedy, so I recommend the best one.
Yotsubato!

Not comedy but very good stuff. (My top 4 seinen)
MuShiShi, Gunslinger Girl, YKK, Blood Alone

A more typical shounen comedy, and one of the best, IMHO,
Gintama

Also , Midori no Hibi, from the same guy who did Ai Kora.

Well, I'll suggest you some of my fav that you still haven't read (some of them not so famous), at least judging from your list:

Chrno Crusade
Crossroad
D-Ash
Eternal Sabbath
Fruits Basket
Gokinjo Monogatari
Hikaru no Go
Mahoraba
Shin Angyo Onshi
Vampire Game

Suzumiya Haruhi (novel). It has some romance, comedy, and a bit of psychological. I haven't read the manga, but the light novel series is very good.

Things I'm obligated to recommend:

Anything by Urasawa Naoki, especially Monster and 20th Century Boys.

Anything by Asano Inio, especially Nijigahara Holograph and Solanin.

Hatsukanezumi no Jikan
Holyland
Himizu
Bitter Virgin

Stuff that's still just getting started that I'm very impressed with:
Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge
Watashitachi no Tamura-kun
Usagi Drop.

Hopefully one or two of them will appeal to you, at least.
