You know, I think I may have actually read something like this at one point. The plot line seems familiar. Unfortunately I don't seem to have it anymore, I don't what it was called or where I might have seen it. In other words I'm in the same boat as you. Of course, if I didn't keep it, it probably wasn't my cup of tea exactly anyway.
