May try basara, it actually happens in the future but since civilization is largely destroyed in that world, it feels like living in the old days, tribal life in Japan.
Emma is great too, the british victorian times.

I've been doing that since last year biggrin But i have no idea what i am aiming. Also, when searching i can only search for one genre, so there will be millions of results.

I've always thought Rurouni Kenshin was pretty historical...not sure if that's what you're looking for though...

It really depends on what kind of history you're looking for. For example, if you'd like to read about Japanese history and about the Shinsengumi in specific, Kaze Hikaru is incredibly historically accurate while adding a romantic twist - yes, it's a shoujo, but the main character is anything but typical - or you could go with Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker and its sequel Peacemaker Kurogane. There's also Getsu Mei Sei Ki and many others which focus more strongly on specific historical characters of the time. None of them are completely scanlated, though... basically, could you be a bit more specific about what type of historical series you're interested in, please?

And for completed historical romances, not just recommendations, the search feature really will help. Here's a list of completely scanlated historical romances, excluding doujinshi, hentai, yaoi, and yuri, then ordered by rating. If you specify what you'd like a bit more, it'd be a lot easier for someone to narrow that list down for you.
