Non-manga person who likes comics? I'd probably reccomend a seinen at least, but Akira is my choice

As my good friend is a big comic book reading but isnt hat much into manga, but there are a few that i have gotten him into tough, so i have had some luck in there area you could say.

ok... im not very familure with them, im more used to trying to get my friend who is only really into the manly action stuff, and his compant is that it doesnt take long to read a volume of a manga, and that it can ber really cheezy and lame and so on. But maybe some of these wil work for you:

- Berserk
- Akira
- Vagabond
- Basilisk
- Fullmetal Alchemist
- Parasyte
- Battle Royale
- Hellsing
- King of Thorn
- FireFighter!: Daigo of Fire Company M (maybe...)
- Mushishi
- Death Note
- Monster
- Planetes
- Dragon Head (maybe...)
- Shamo
- One Piece (maybe...)

Thanks I know he will want to read berserk cause i talk too much about it and I am pretty sure that I showed him hellsing might be intrestd again and Battle Royale I read the novel and he thought it was cool and funny in his own twisted way. And he was already intreasted with death note so he might read it. and the rest i havent read. so you helped me and my friend thanks again

Hmm if he's twisted, then why not trow some horror manga his way. Like maybe these here:

Uzumaki
Gyo
The Drifting Classroom
and some other stuff, but im feeling too shity right now to bother listing. But im sure he will get a kick out of The Drifting Classroom, as its really fucked up crazy (soo many little kids being killed and ust abunch of other weird crazy shit going down), but is a 30 year old manga, so i hope the art wouldnt be a problem...but i who cares if the art is old (i personaly love it), because its from the almighty god Umezz~ biggrin lol .

Over exaggerating Gintama? That's like the best manga ever....actually it's Superior, Gintama, bride of the water god and then chevalier d'oen =D
Check Superior out, my friend doesn't like manga but got into that (Now likes manga XD) but the friend was a girl....a very manly girl....but it depends on their personal preferences
