i really enjoy asian movies but i just cant find anything good
i really enjoyed The Vengeance Trilogy
infernal affairs
many takashi miike movies
and one japanese movie with zombies (cant remember the name)
the genre is not very important as long as its not very romance or teens getting pregnant(really annoys me dunno why)
thank you for the help!
oh also i dont mind watching a good series or something

The last HK film I watched was Protege (2007).... Not as awesome as Infernal Affairs, but still pretty good.
If you like historical war type films, maybe Battle of Wits(2006)
For Japanese movies, Ping Pong(2003)..... I've also got the Udon(2006) DVD, but I've not watched it yet.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
Haven't seen that many Chinese/Korean/Japanese films lately, to be honest.
Some good options on this thread.

My favourite asian movie is "The cave of the yellow dog" from the Mongolian director Daava. But it's not probably what you're looking for. ^^

I remember seeing a film called "2002" (made in 2001, lol) that was alright. My brother used to come home with Asian film every now and then. Some were quite good, but had near pointless endings.
2002 IMDB page
I got bored and walked out on House of Flying Daggers.

hmm.... last good one i saw was Flash Point
for the most part Hong Kong films just aren't as good as hollywood ones.....but with that said Flash Point was a pretty good movie
and as far as japanese movies go.......i've only seen one (Nana) and it was horrible (atleast directing and production wise) so i assume japanese movies just aren't that good as a whole.....
but anyways here's it's imdb
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0992911/

Quote from blakraven66
Try Jiang Hu
Ohh... i absulutely second that, Jiang Hu was awesome and if you don't mind watching anime movies i suggest you check out Hayao Miyazaki works like Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle. Eventhough it was anime movies, the drama and the plot in it was really really good. It(Spirited Away) even grab and Oscar Award if if i'm not mistaken.
