Hmm. You might want to try Three Extremes, since you are a Miike fan. All three aren't directed by him, but the other two are extremely well done as well.

I liked house of flying daggers, but, a lot didn't. Same goes with Wu Ji. But you could also try Wang-ui namja... It seemed to get a lot good reviews.



I would also recommend you water every freaking Royston Tan film you can get your hands on. Especially 15 and 4:30. I haven't seen his newest film though.

I recommend "Tampopo" there's really no other movie like it but I should warn you that you'll get hungry if you watch this one without food ready.
