I have to say, I don't give half a crap about what happens to Risa. At all. I don't care one tiny biit. Well...I sort of hope she dies. A horrible death. Slowly.
I mean...have you ever seen a more shallow character in a manga? EVER? A guy confesses to her, she turns him down because he isn't "cool" enough. Then, she falls in love with Dark, having no idea what kind of person he is, why he's stealing artwork, or...well...anything about him. Oh, wait, that's right, she knew that he looked good. And that he was cool.
Don't think I've ever hated a female character in any work of fiction to this extent before.
Anyone agree or disagree with me? Anyone have any other opinions?

Lol, I don't care for her either. Her character is that of a spoiled princess that pulls everyone into her (minor) problems. Shallow, weak, prissy... No wonder her sister is more popular. At least Riku is a bit stronger. Yep, I don't care for her either, but I think there other characters that I hate more (like Orihime).

i feel the same as rainy. shes had pretty much no growth at all over what , like 12 volumes or something? riku is way better than her lol. weve seen many sides of her and her growth with daisuke so i think thats why its easy to connect with her.
i think of risa as like tenten from naruto...you dont really HATE her, but if she died you would just say, "oh, shes dead now...okay." and move on

I agree with you fully. She pisses me off >_>! She is definitely at the top of the "Really Annoying Anime Girls That I Hate the Most" List. Daisuke likes him, and then she uses him to see Dark. Then she starts thinking that she should "Help Dark out with Thieving" and all of that >_> I thought that DNangel was a really good series BEFORE she got involved. For me, Seeing her could be compared to having to wake up at 5 in the morning to a really loud alarm clock

I don't like Risa at all, she can die for all I care. (ouch harsh.) She's so annoying and she doesn't derserve Dark at all, I'd rather Riku keep him but she's most likely gonna end up with Daisuke. Another reason for not liking her is that she intervenes with my yaoi pairings  ok enough, I don't like her period.

Anyway, I don't like her either. Her character was mainly designed to make Dark appear..and besides that there's nothing to her character thats good.
She sorta sees others as inferior beings..even Riku, her sister, while having no talents nor 'PART' in the plot. Well, I can say that she's a shameless fangirl with a super princess complex.
And I agree, her death would not mean anything big to the plot which makes her meaningless character after Dark's first appearance.

Ha... Everyone here seems to not like Risa. I think she's completely fine.
My assumption - Risa has her personality (useless princess) because that's how Dark prefers it. Dark is obsessed with having people obsess over him. If that makes sense...
And I truly believe that she will someday develop into... something useful...

i read this manga like 3 years ago and like others I never really liked Risa at all myself I really think she is useless.
